Privacy Policy
This policy explains how Secwiz Infotech LLP ("we") handles personal data in Suspense Helper, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.
1. Our approach
Suspense Helper is built so that we cannot read your ledgers. Ledger data is encrypted on your device. When it is shared between a CA and a client, it is end-to-end encrypted, and the keys stay on your devices. The suggestion engine runs on your own computer, and bank narrations are not sent to outside AI services.
2. Data we collect
- Account details: name, firm name, email, phone number and, for invoices, GSTIN and billing address.
- Licence and device details: which devices are linked to your account, app version and plan, so we can manage licences and remote sign-out.
- Encrypted sync data: if you use sharing or sync, we store encrypted data that we cannot decrypt.
- Payment records: amount, date, plan and the payment reference from our payment partner. We do not receive or store card numbers, UPI PINs or bank login details.
- Support messages you send us by email or WhatsApp.
3. Why we use it
To provide and secure the Service, manage your subscription and licences, issue GST invoices, give support, and meet legal obligations such as tax records. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Sharing
We share data only with service providers who help us run the Service, such as our cloud hosting provider in India and our payment partner, and only as needed. We may disclose data where required by law.
5. Retention
We keep account and payment records for as long as your account is active and as long as tax law requires afterwards (generally 8 years for invoices). Encrypted sync data is deleted when you delete it or close your account.
6. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate another person to exercise your rights. Write to us at support@secwizt.com. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India.
7. Clients of CA firms
If you are a client invited by your CA, your CA decides what data is collected in their ledgers. Please contact your CA first; we will help them respond to your request.
8. Security
We use encryption on devices and in transit, signed app releases, and limited internal access. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects your personal data, we will inform you and the authorities as required by law.
9. Children
The Service is meant for professionals and businesses and is not intended for anyone under 18.
